Job description

Job Description

Being at the heart of hiring as a Talent Acquisition Partner is a job like no other. You're close to the business but connected to the outside world, and you match some of the most talented people to the most rewarding opportunities in the market. You solve problems, you create connections between people, and you act as a trusted advisor to business leaders and candidates alike. That's what we do in the Talent Acquisition at Siemens Software in EMEA, and we're hiring new Talent Acquisition Partners in Wroclaw and Katowice now for our developing team.

Our EMEA Talent Acquisition team covers positions in more than 20 countries across the region. With colleagues based across Europe and the Middle East, you'll be part of a growing global Talent Acquisition function delivering well in excess of 1,000 hires a year to our thriving software business. You might not know the names of each one of our software products, but you'll know the names of our customers; the biggest names in automotive, aviation and industrial manufacturing in the world.

Our Opportunity

Our TA partners work directly with business leaders to define their recruiting needs, designing and executing recruitment campaigns to attract a wide range of talented people to our business. You'll use your skills to advise and guide the business, write great job ads, searching directly and engaging both active and passive candidates at a wide range of levels. Our TA team provides a crucial service to the business in the selection and assessment phases, screening candidates early in the process, but also interviewing alongside business and HR colleagues to ascertain competency and capability. We're passionate about giving candidates an exceptional experience, and we want to work with TA professionals who value a high-touch, proactive approach to recruitment. We act as the talent advisors to our business stakeholders, and we're building a team with a reputation for attention to detail, responsiveness and a creative approach to talent acquisition.

What you'll do

You'll be accountable for the recruitment process from start to finish, and be responsible for implementing the optimal strategy to identify, select and hire candidates across technical, R&D and sales roles in the software space. We hire at all levels from entry and school leaver positions to director level roles, so you'll handle a varied workload. This position will be focussed on hiring in the Poland, but you can expect to handle roles other EMEA locations too – possibly beyond! You'll coach less experienced team members on strategies and skills in Talent Acquisition, and train business and HR stakeholders in recruitment best practices. You'll keep our ATS up to date (we use Avature) and you'll ensure an inclusive approach to recruitment in every aspect of the process. You'll be an active member of the global TA community, and keep abreast of hiring trends and market insight. We don't have a big reporting or KPI burden here, but you'll need to be proactive and able to prioritise very effectively, as we're going to consider the time taken to identify the successful candidate as an important aspect of our efficiency as a team. We care about giving candidates a positive experience, and you'll need to ensure your hiring stakeholders are at the very top of their game in giving feedback quickly, communicating well with candidates and managing candidate expectations well.

What we're looking for

To join us as a Talent Acquisition partner, you'll need a proven track record of recruitment and resourcing experience, with at least some of your expertise gained from an in-house or RPO role. You'll be skilled at direct sourcing using standard talent acquisition tools, and you'll bring a strong knowledge of attraction strategies across a wide variety of platforms. Our TA partners really are experts in the field, so you'll need to show a deep expertise in best practices in recruitment, including a thorough knowledge of basics of employment legislation related to recruitment, diversity & inclusion best practices and an innovative and flexible approach to sourcing strategy. If you've got some skills gained in recruitment within the industrial software industry, we definitely want to talk to you – expertise in sourcing for candidates with cloud-based skills, SaaS background and software development experience would be very valuable to us as a team.

We want to work with people who are passionate about great candidate experience, with high levels of integrity and who are confident in using data-driven insight to challenge assumptions and drive the business forward. We're problem solvers and collaborators, so although you'll have your own designated responsibilities, we expect every member of our team to share and learn from each other. You're passionate about people, driven by data and naturally inquisitive. You know what great recruitment looks and feels like, and you're proactive with your stakeholders and candidates. You can influence in a positive and constructive way, and people will value your credibility as a trusted advisor.
