About the role / Segment 

Learning about modern DFT technologies in the IC industry.
Learning about hardware description languages (Verilog) and scripting in Unix (Bash, Tcl).
Cooperating with software developers and other team members in the EU, US and CA.
Peer code review.
Branch development.
Use Linux, Bash, TCL (scripting language popular in DFT tools), Verilog, Jira, Confluence, Phabricator, MS Teams.


Responsibilities:

Assists more senior engineers in designing, developing, modifying, and implementing software programming for products (both internal and external) with focus on surpassing customers expectations by achieving high quality and on time delivery. 
Ensures the overall functional quality of the released product on all required platforms and mechanism. 
Works under close supervision. 


Qualifications:

Experience in object oriented programming in C++
Knowledge of source code versioning systems (e.g. git) and code review systems (e.g. Phabricator)
Knowledge of scripting languages (Python, Tcl)
Conversational English
Basic knowledge of hardware description languages (e.g. Verilog, SystemVerilog, VHDL)
