This is a role well suited to an ambitious professional, looking for the next step in their career. As a Supervisor – Americas Distribution Center , you will be responsible for :

> Oversees the day-to-day operations of the group to ensure a smooth workflow.

> Impact of decisions on business operations is direct but limited.

> Performs work in compliance with established procedures and/or protocols.

> Identifies resource needs and suggests justification.

> Troubleshoots and resolves basic problems.

> Assists in routine production/order flow through the distribution center; evaluates and recommends improvement ideas and programs to ensure all production targets are achieved.

> Assists in maintaining consumable packaging and supplies inventory and initiate stock replenishment programs as needed.

> Assists in planning and supervising the execution of contractor work orders in a timely and cost effective manner.

> Assists in supervising routine shipping of products, equipment, and supplies.

> Assists in maintaining an ensuring employees are current in training and documentation in compliance with the quality management system.

> Participates in and completes timely completion of relevant EHS reports

> Leads and participates in teams as assigned by business needs or supervisor

Required skills to have for the success of this role

> Demonstrates a knowledge of fundamental concepts, practices, and procedures for supervised work group(s).

> May demonstrate understanding and application of supervisory approaches for work direction, motivation, performance management, and disciplinary action.

> Knowledge and application in SAP
