Job Description

Design and develop high quality scalable, reusable, and custom software solutions based on business requirements from users and feasibility assessment based on knowledge of existing capabilities, subject matter expertise and good understanding of data structures and algorithms;

Implement various architectural and design patterns like Layered, Microservices, MVC, Creational, Structural and Behavioral;

Perform Object Oriented Analysis and Design (OOAD), UML, applying industry best practices and techniques;

Perform advanced-level engineering tasks using logic analysis, responsive design techniques and strategies for the development of software and complex applications; Design complex relational database models;

Perform Software Development as a Stack (SDaaS), Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery using Jenkin on Cloud;

Convert legacy applications to state of the art programs, automation, and deployments techniques;

Develop, customize application software and specialized utilities based on technical, functional specifications with the objective of meeting customer needs, optimizing operational efficiency, software maintenance;

Use scientific analysis and instrumentation to predict and measure outcome and consequences of design, implementation and effectiveness of the software solution;

Create functional and technical specifications, standard modeling, design documents and business process flows by applying subject matter and symbolic logic;

Conduct design and code review to ensure design principles, standards are followed;

Perform Unit and Integration tests for the development; Support defect fixes and enhancements identified during the system test phase;

Perform in a dynamic, fast paced and full life-cycle of agile development environment, using Jira and Confluence;

Manage relevant aspects of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) including planning, construction, testing, reviews and demonstrations. Provide regular status updates to managers;

Serve as team coach Mentor Graphics Corporation personnel to assist with the application development and help team with technical issues resolution process and solution delivery of high-end software development;

Collaborate effectively with stakeholders, other software engineers and across all cross-functional teams to resolve complex issues, come up with recommendations to improve software design and performance;
