Position Overview

Make your mark in our exciting world at Siemens! Siemens Oil & Gas HR is looking for an established Global Human Resource Business Partner located in Houston, TX, who will support two Oil & Gas business segments within the United Stated and Europe.

As member of the Global Human Resource Business Partner team, you will be a trusted partner, bringing deep insight, an independent viewpoint and HR expertise to business issues. You will collaborate with and influence senior leaders and translate business requirements into people practices and utilize the full value chain of HR to derive relevant HR solutions to meet the evolving needs of the business. You will play a key role in strategizing, facilitating, and designing changes to leadership, company culture, and structure. In this role, you will travel 40% domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

·  Support two organizational units; understand their business and its strategy, be an active partner to the leadership teams by initiating the decision-making process across all facets of these organizational units
·  Build and develop overall global people strategy for the Siemens Oil & Gas business unit aligned with the business strategy. Implement this strategy to achieve medium and long-term business goals.
·  Understand our Oil & Gas customers, market and industry and implications for our business and people practices
·  Partner with leadership teams at relevant levels to drive performance and build organizational capability
·  Drive global talent development and planning for senior leadership teams
·  Discuss with global leaders related to workforce, organization design changes and cultural change in line with business strategy
·  Enable executives to be more effective leaders through coaching and development
·  Identify needs for change management and champion related activities
·  Facilitate conversations with business partners on the appropriate HR programs, processes, and policies based on the business directives and initiatives
·  Lead implementation of projects (including M&A), Human Resource programs and initiatives
·  Network and represent Siemens in the wider Human Resource community

Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience

·  Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Development or similar field
·  8-10 years of human resources experience in operational field as well as strategic Human Resource assignments demonstrating a working knowledge of multiple human resources disciplines including business partnership, strategy, compensation & benefits, recruiting and management, performance management and management consultation.
·  Ability to travel up to 40% travel (Domestic and International)
·  Experience in working in an international environment and for global organizations and in virtual teams
·  Ability to be flexible, proactive, motivated and collaborate with all employees
·  Strong oral and written communication.
·  Excellent interpersonal and coaching skills.
·  Successfully lead change in the organization
·  Ability to handle multiple projects or tasks while effectively prioritizing to meet deadlines in an evolving fast-paced environment.
·  Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
·  Demonstrable ability to research and analyze information
·  Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Work, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)

Preferred Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience

·  Master's Degree in Human Resources or Business Administration
·  PHR/SPHR certification
·  Experience in working in the Oil & Gas field
·  Experience working in a matrix driven environment
