We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Data Scientist .

Principal responsibilities

​Work on the end to end flow of a broad range of analytics use cases to deliver real business value

·
Closely engage with business stakeholders and understand the problem, assist data engineers in securing and processing the data required

·
Build and test the appropriate model that gives insight or a solution to the problem, overseeing the deployment into production

·
Assist to rapidly implement insights from data that can help drive more informed decision making

·
Work closely with technology teams to aid the delivery of GBMs effective data architecture and data ingestion, articulate the feasibility and constraints on the implementation and manage stakeholders expectation

·
Ensure Asia Pacific data analytics agenda fits into other regional and global initiatives to support wider business objectives and maximize profitability

·
Upkeep appropriate processes, procedures, documentations, governance while using data and while providing outputs to stakeholders

·
Establish good communication platform to ensure all stakeholders are kept fully informed on the latest activities of the data commercialization strategy and drive usage

Desired profile

Qualifications :

Requirements

· 
​University Degree in applied mathematics, statistics, machine learning, quantitative finance or related scientific area

· 
Deep understanding of the theoretical grounds of machine learning and of the corresponding mathematical framework. Strong statistical knowledge is an asset for this position

· 
Strong programming skills including Python with exposure to Data Science or Visualization packages such as SciKit Learn, Keras, Tensorflow or Plotly

· 
Experience in delivering data science solutions into production

· 
Preferably an understanding of distributed compute environments such as MapReduce, Hadoop, Spark, H2O

· 
Financial institution experience is preferable but not essential

· 
Excellent communication skills, ability to engage with different stakeholders and to synthesize requirements into clear problem statements and proposals
