Role Summary/Purpose
The Manufacturing Engineer will demonstrate leadership in communicating business goals, programs and processes for an area or business segment. The Manufacturing Engineer utilizes experience and expertise to solve problems, develop and execute objectives and has the ability to effect short-term and some long-term business goals.
Essential Responsibilities
As theManufacturing Engineer, you will:
· Manage projects involving equipment development and installation
· Develop and maintain manufacturing methods and create process routings
· Develop and maintain qualification cards for processes
· Design and build/procure necessary tooling and finishing within budgets
· Support equipment upgrades from purchase through installation
· Condusct cost/benefit anlaysis for changes to processes and/or equipment
· Support Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) projects
· Drive Process Improvement/Cycle Reduction initiatives and drive productivity improvements via process changes or improvements
· Ensure processes contribute to a safe work environment
· Identify and reduce soruces of labor efficiency variations
· Identify and reduce product quality issues casued by process variation
· Support the quality function through integration of International Organization for Standardization (ISO)/Quality Control (QC) documentation and Manufacturing methods instructions
· Lead high-impact process and quality improvement projects yielding significant reduction in defects and increased productivity
· Lead New Technology Initiatives (NTI) and share best practices with other locations
· Utilize Lean Six Sigma manufacturing principles and participate in action workouts to improve process capability, reduce overall costs and increase capacity
· Support multiple functions across the plant including, but not limited to, maintenance, outbound and warehouse
Qualifications/Requirements
· Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or college
· Minimum 5 years of Manufacturing or Engineering experience
This is a safety-sensitive role in a heavy manufacturing environment.

· Prior experience with turbine blade/composite manufacturinghighly preffered
