Essential Responsibilities

Reproduce parts from measurements taken and from used parts • Read machine shop and fabrication drawings and machine and fabricate parts from drawings • Perform basic shop welding and fabrication • Have industrial experience in operating manual lathes, drill presses, grinders and milling equipment • Bend and sheer sheet metal • Rebuild industrial pumps and gear boxes • Basic pipe fitting • Repairing mechanical equipment on production floor and using problem solving skills to solve root causes • Performing precision measurements • Lift up to 50 pounds. Climb stairs and work in elevated heights and confined spaces when necessary.
Qualifications/Requirements

At least 3 years’ experience machining repair parts, field maching & millwright experience in an industrial setting. • Graduate of a 2-year degree in machining or completion of an apprentice program. • Ability to work independently and lift up to 50 lbs. • Ability to work on any of 3 shifts and work a reasonable amount of overtime. Must be able to commute to work in Bucyrus, OH (Crawford County, OH)
