Role Summary/Purpose

Performs basic tasks such as electro-mechanical set up, conformal coating operations, masking, taping, utilizing cables, connectors, and test equipment, must be able to adjust and modify machine profiles as need to meet specification. Openings available on 1st and 2nd shift.
Essential Responsibilities

Prepare boards for conformal coat by cleaning items and surfaces to be finished. Mask connectors and other objects on the board.
Work with hand, pneumatic and electric hand tools. Mix chemicals according to manufacturers specifications.
Apply epoxy and conformal coatings using dispensing equipment.
Follows written specifications or operation sheet in the completion of the assigned tasks
Maintains records of test, quality and specification data; Exercises care to ensure that each step in the process is completed correctly and that the part or finished product meets the quality specifications . Provides training and mentoring for other employees as required Utilizes written or visual instructions involving use of quantitative information from specifications, graphs, pictures, documentation, dials, gages, etc. Provides written and/or oral communications concerning a variety of situations Keeps workstation, tools and equipment in a neat and orderly manner Understands and complies with all Company, safety rules and regulations
Engages and participates in a self-directed teaming environment Regular attendance is an essential job function for this position.
Qualifications/Requirements

This is a 2nd shift opportunity. Available to work Sun - Thurs from 4pm to 12:30 am.
Ability to work with limited supervision, produce quality product consistently within time standards.
Due to ITAR requirements, applicants must be a U.S. Citizen or a Permanent Resident.

Requirements/Knowledge:
 Education Required:
o High School Diploma or GED
o IPC-A-610 Certification (or ability to get certified or re – certified)
 Experience
o 1-3 years of manufacturing experience
 Skill Level Required:
o Skills required in handling basic hand tools and simple measuring devices
o Basic computer skills
o Skills requiring the basic ability to interpret specifications, drawings and perform in process inspections
o Should possess dexterity skills, good hand & eye coordination
Desired Characteristics

General knowledge and use of Industrial ovens, scales and simple meters used for recording data desired. Use and knowledge of two part epoxies and chemicals.
Good computer skills.
Ability to understand printed circuit board assembly; including reading assembly drawings and written work instructions.
Desired Qualifications:
 Past experience in a manufacturing environment
 Past experience in a self-directed teaming environment
 Lean manufacturing knowledge
