Job Purpose
To support to the team for the planning, co-ordination and implementation of marketing activities, strategies, plans and budgets.

Key Areas of Responsibility
Product Management

·  Support the development and implementation of new product launches
·  Support the updating and upgrading of product packaging and artwork
·  Manage ad hoc projects where required

Brand Management

·  Support the roll out and implementation of brand plans relating to a specific portfolio; including co-ordinating the activities of agencies
·  Provide support to the team for all the “Below the line” activity, including sampling and activations, Point of Sale, and launches
·  Support day-to-day brand management, Senior Brand Managers, and Marketing Managers

Integration

·  Manage cross functional relationships to deliver marketing objectives including R&D, Commercial, Finance, Production, Supply Chain and sales
·  Support trade marketing in the successful implementation of brand plans, relaunches, packaging changes, and other marketing initiatives
·  Understand the Industrial processes related to the Brand Portfolio

Research

·  Support the S&I Team in all their research requirements including U&A, qualitative and quantitative research, and taste tests
·  Evaluate market trends and AC Nielsen Data
·  Evaluate data, marketing and competitor information from various sources; including sales performance, promotion performance, and market analyses

Marketing Expense

·  Manage the daily monitoring and processing of marketing-related expenses
·  Control and report on monthly and annual marketing budget and expenses
·  Create purchase orders for marketing spend
·  Co-ordinate with the marketing team to phase marketing spend appropriately
·  Support Finance where required by communicating directly with providers on required documentation, and invoice and payment queries
·  Reconcile invoices and PO’s to ensure that all Finance requirements are met
·  Attend the monthly meeting to give feedback against the budget tracker

Academic and Trade Qualifications

·  3-year Marketing or Business-related degree

Work Experience

·  3-6 years marketing experience as a Junior brand manager or similar
·  Brand marketing experience
·  Project management experience
·  Knowledge of FMCG
·  Below the line Activation experience
·  Agency management experience
·  Budget Management Experience
·  P&L Management Experience
·  Proven presentation skills
·  Proficient in MS Office: Excel, Word, PowerPoint
·  Luxury/Indulgent product experience is an advantage
