Job description



We are currently seeking a UK F&B Local Market Management Accountant to support the Head of Finance, in business-partnering with senior stakeholders within the UK F&B local market, including the F&B Director.

Main responsibilities:

· Full ownership of the monthly management reporting process for the UK F&B Local Market business, including financial submissions to the Global Corporate team.
· Conducting monthly management reviews, including challenging senior stakeholders on financial spend and providing analysis on budget vs actuals.
· Responsibility for the preparation of annual budgets and their presentation (alongside the Head of Finance) to the CFO and Managing Director for sign off.
· Monthly sales updates and local market insights leading to the preparation of monthly reforecasts.
· Co-managing one Assistant Accountant, including overseeing their month end journals.
· Working with the FP&A Manager to produce and maintain financial and non-financial dashboard information with detailed analytical commentary.
· Full responsibility in capital expenditure reporting. Manage capex process for UK F&B Local market division, to allow reporting to global and distribution updates. Also carry out post-mortem analysis on existing projects.
· Regularly collaborate with and respond to ad-hoc analysis requests from Regional and Global F&B divisional team, including some travel to their office.
· Full responsibility in closing the year end accounts, while also supporting the year end audit.
· Develop key business insights, improving reporting to analyse KPI’s and profitability across the business.
· Work closely with systems teams to build a standard suite of reporting in the division.
· Collaborating with and providing support to the Head of Finance, Regional FP&A and the CFO whenever necessary.
· Drive process change within the division, simplify and automating where possible to build efficiencies in all financial reporting.

Essential Experience:

· Strong finance knowledge and understanding of financial principles and management reporting. Using this skill, partner and understand the needs of the business, working towards solutions to allow the business to make swift, informed decisions.
· Qualified accountant ( CIMA or equivalent ).
· Proven track record of previous FP&A or management accounts experience.
· Computer literate with advanced Excel and Powerpoint. Knowledge of Hyperion, TM1, Axapta, SAP and Power  BI desirable but not essential.
· Commercial finance experience .
· Quick learner with a positive attitude, professional demeanor, and strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
· Proven ability to succeed in a dynamic, results-oriented environment.

· Excellent analytical and planning skills.
· Must be fluent in English.   French, Portuguese and/or Spanish language skills would be advantageous.
