Methods and Tools (M&T) is Transverse team developing tools for Flight Physics design, Air- frame Analysis, System Simulation, Flight Operational Analysis, System Testing, Helicopters and Customer Support. M&T plays a key role in product life cycle of Aircraft. Airbus India M&T has developed in house tools to support critical safety analysis tools which has played key role in Type Certification of A350-900. AI M&T involved in Research and Technology projects for developing concept demonstration prototypes; few of them based on data analytics for future requirements of engineering analysis needs. AI M&T also specializes in ‘Agile’ software development practices.
Methods and tools team is tasked with development of products that are direct customer facing. These products are meant to create high impact on the airline operations such as “maintenance optimization”, “manage technical documentation” and “ground connectivity”. The development shall be carried out with cutting edge technologies and “best software development practices” such as Agile Scrum / Scaled Agile framework. Under this philosophy the candidate shall play the role of “scrum master”, who acts as the servant leader to the agile team. He / she is responsible for creating a dynamic high performing team involved in state of the art product development. In achieving that, he / she need to implement strong agile software development practices, and ensure the team follows it.
· Demonstrates “Lean Agile Leadership”
· Enables high performance effective operation of Agile teams to make them:
· Self-organized, o Self-managed o Deliver via effective Lean-Agile practices
· Facilitates the team’s progress toward team goals by eliminating impediments
· Can communicate and coordinate activities of the agile team with other teams
· Facilitates the Agile ceremonials: Sprint planning, o Program Iteration planning o Daily stand up o Iteration retrospective Clear communication and status reporting to the management
Manage Agile KPIs such as:
· Product backlog burn down chart o Sprint burn-up charts o Release burn down chart o Team velocity etc...
· Capture learning and ensure knowledge management
· Create Design Dossiers for the application and code, if necessary
· Project management
· Certified Scrum Master
· Overall understanding of the Software Development Life cycle (SDLC)
· Strong communication skills
· Agile Processes (SAFe / Scrum / Kanban...)
· Software development competencies such as: C++ / C# / JAVA o SQL Server / Oracle o Java scripts (Angular / React / ExtJS) o Web services: CXF / Web API / Axis etc o XML o .Net / J2EE o Python / VB.Net
