As PSE (Production System Efficiency) & Digitalisation for FAL A320 family, our team is responsible for defining the manufacturing engineering process, methods, tools and data for the A320 final assembly lines (FALs) in Hamburg, Toulouse, Tianjin and Mobile.
Within the organisation you will join the Shop floor execution & efficiency Team, who are engaged to support the A320 family in a challenging ramp-up until 2027. One of the key conditions of success is to identify, develop and deploy sustainable digital solutions in order to upgrade the FALs PMTD landscape.

Location: Hamburg
Start: As soon as possible
Duration: 6 months

You will be working at the largest production site for civil aircraft situated in Hamburg. Its location on the southern banks of the river Elbe includes the option to commute by ferry. Your tasks and responsibilities
Paperless at shop floor level is an E2E Digitalisation approach for the FALs. The objective of this initiative is to remove paper work to eliminate human errors, secure process compliance and data consistency. In your Thesis, you will analyze and develop an E2E Industrial solution out of existing solutions, defining interconnections, pointing out missing elements and incorporating future technologies.

Desired skills and qualifications

Enrolled full-time student in the area of Economical Engineering, Economics or an equivalent field of study.

First practical experience working in a matrix organization or a corporate setup is desirable.
Understanding for Information Systems
Strong analytical skills and the ability to simplify complex topics and develop implementable solutions
Good communication skills
Fluent English language skills, German or French would be an advantage
