Airbus Defence and Space is looking for a Processor Systems Engineering Manager to join our team in Stevenage, England.

SECURITY CLEARANCE: The successful candidate will be subject to SC (Security Check) in order to undertake related work in accordance with business needs.

TRAVEL REQUIRED: Occasional travel

HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE TO THE TEAM 

·  Act as the local technical authority on all digital processor programmes,
·  Provide expert support during the preparation and testing of hardware-software, payload and spacecraft integration stages,
·  Involvement in all new bids, ensuring processor group interests are represented and commitments clearly communicated,
·  Liaise with stakeholders to ensure adequate planning of system integration and validation activities,
·  Provide technical and team leadership.

ABOUT YOU – Your Skills

·  Experience in satellite digital communication systems and on-board digital processing technologies,
·  Experience in validation of complex digital systems including hardware-software and RF-digital integration activities,
·  Able to rapidly assimilate in-depth technical details about complex Airbus products,
·  Communication and leadership skills to collaborate well within a multi-disciplinary engineering and commercial team environment.
