Job Description

An excellent opportunity for a Recent Gradute OR Last Year Student engineer to undertake an internship within Engineering department in Airbus Getafe.

TASKS

Analysis of energy storage solutions:

·  Perform market research of any existing energy storage solutions including supercapacitors, batteries and alternative technologies for future aircraft, as well as compatibility with regulatory requirements for aviation.
·  l Analysis of field data from fleets to stablish tendencies and support algorithms development

Modelling and simulation of energy storage systems

·  Create software infrastructure for modelling and simulation.
·  Research energy storage electrical/thermal modelling approaches.
·  Build batteries, supercapacitors and DCDC converters simulation models in Matlab/Simulink for electrical profiles simulation, sensitivity analysis and component optimization.

JOB PROFILE

We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:

·  English working proficiency.
·   Matlab/Simulink basic knowledge essential, Python language a plus.
·  Familiarity with principles of operation of batteries, supercapacitors and DC/DC converters.
·  Familiarity with control software techniques.
·  Familiarity with physical modelling.
·  Calculus
