Description of the job:

In the frame of the expansion of Airbus’ IM Cyber Analytics services, a need has risen for a Cyber Security Data Analyst to provide transversal services across different Cyber Security products.

One of the key programmes to protect Airbus from ongoing threats and to reduce the risk of exposure is Critical Asset Cyber Protection (CACP). This programme ensures the protection via various control mechanisms of Airbus’ most critical systems, people and information.

It is critical to be able to detect anomalies, incidents, events and long-term trends originating from these controls to ensure swift response and remediation. Such control mechanisms are: Data Loss Prevention (DLP), Privileged Access Management (PAM), Controlled Data and others.

Reporting directly to the Head of CACP you will work in the Cyber Analytics team leading and supporting activities to ensure Data Analytics implementation in the frame of CACP.

Tasks and Accountabilities:

·  You will define and prioritize data sources required to perform data analysis
·  You will work with the data owners and the data onboarding team to ensure data injection in Big Data platforms (Splunk)
·  You will create dashboards and visualisations according to Our requirements
·  You will query data, analyse trends and create mechanisms for security event management, alerting and regular reporting
·  You will contextualise data in the frame of cyber security risks
·  You will synthesize reports for presentation to senior management and decision-making stakeholders

Required skills:

·  Business Analysis experience
·  Data flow mapping
·  Splunk Experience: dashboard creation, query language, configuration of Splunk application
·  Good communication skills
·  Inquisitive nature, able to see and then connect the dots

This role is based at our site in Filton, Bristol. You will need to be eligible to gain UK SC Security Clearance to undertake the role
