Start: February/March 2020

Duration: 3-6 months

A vacancy for a working student arised within Airbus Space & Defense in the department for Virtual Engineering. We are responsible for solutions that accelerate verification & validation of airborne systems and software. With our solutions several digital engineering assets are put into operation, such as virtual software integration environments, test rigs for validation of electronic aircraft equipment, simulation frameworks and pilot / operator training facilities. They are needed to validate and put into service today’s aircraft programs, future aircraft programs & future airborne systems - of - systems within Airbus and it’s customers. 

To facilitate the adoption of our solutions in the Airbus Group further we look for a working student who is a strong communicator, fast learner and self-starter.

Tasks:

Your exciting tasks:

1.Product Marketing & technical documentation:

·  Create and reserve pages in the hub (our intranet) and architect the content.
·  Create brief but compelling product descriptions including contacts (product owners) and links to ressources (examples, success stories, downloads, trainings).
·  Create success-stories, such as the MUT-Labratory.
·  (Identfiy learning ressources if possible and link to these ressources)
·  Create brief but compelling feature descriptions (and learning ressources) for
·  Test Environment Editor
·  ICD-Converter
·  Record- & Stimulation
·  virtual LRI-Integration

2.User-Experience:

·  Identify 3-5 terminal users of AIDASS & MaTE.
·  Understand & identify key workflows.
·  Notice current state of the user experiences by analysing a number of key-workflows:
·  [Workflow 1]*: Input, output, artifacts, user-journey
·  [Workflow 2]*: Input, output, artifacts, user-journey
·  [Workflow n]*: Input, output, artifacts, user-journey
·  Capture structured feedback for each workflow structured as follows:
·  Keep: Current attributes that are acccepted and regarded as in line with the expected behaviour
·  Drop: Current attributes that limit or block user interaction or do not behave as expected („strange“, „confusing“, „irritating“)
·  Add: Future features, APIs, languages to be supported that will intensify or ease user interaction

3.User-Training & Learning Experiences:

For selected Products and Features: Design a blended learning experience (slides, interactive environments and ressources such as Jupyter-Notebooks) that help users to use and adopt features in AIDASS and MaTE.

Qualification:

You offer:

- Enrolled student within Business Informatics, Computer Science, Media Studiesor similar field of study

- Basic skills within the programs Python, C, C++, Java, Matlab

- English: negotiation level

- German: advanced

You are a good team player, have excellent communication skills, and are able to work independently.
