Job Description

Satair is facing new challenges and demands in the scope of the supply chain. In order to remain competitive, conventional methods and processes need to be reconsidered aiming to reduce lead time, increase productivity and subsequently customer satisfaction. The use of enhanced simulation / data & analysis tools is one of the key elements in this context.

As an analyst, you will be applying your process and data analysis skills to help diagnose, extract insights, troubleshoot and improve the processes and value for the customer.

·  You will apply abstract reasoning (analytical skills) to break problems into smaller pieces to derive solutions
·  Understanding the processes and pain points, to gather requirements, opportunities and value levers regarding data and possible use of technologies for process automation
·  Collecting, cleansing, processing, and validation on the data subject to analyse
·  Performing statistical analysis and experiments to derive business insights
·  Clearly communicate the findings from the analysis and proactively come up and develop solutions into something actionable through processes, reports, dashboards, and /or presentations
·  You will proactively come up with ideas how to improve performance within the supply chain environment based on core KPIs
·  You have robust coding abilities (Python, SQL, Java)
·  Experience in algorithms, data structures would be a plus
·  Experience in data extraction, manipulating and reporting
·  Understand the combination of data analytics and business processes with an appetence for business / industrial problem solving
·  Practical experience / understanding of lean, industrial, supply chain, process improvement
·  Hands-on, pragmatic approach to building digital products (hacker / entrepreneurial mindset)
·  Capable of working independently
·  Strong knowledge of English, both orally and in writing
