Job Description

A vacancy in Financial Systems team for Reporting has arisen within Airbus (Commercial Aircraft) in Toulouse. You will join Integrated Finance Solutions (IFS), the organization responsible for the definition and delivery of the Digital Finance Roadmap of Airbus and this with cross divisional and cross countries responsibilities.

In an international environment, connected with a wide Finance network, in collaboration with multicultural teams, you will be responsible for delivering and maintaining the future technological solutions based on the IFS Reporting Strategy.

You will be expected to using AGILE project methodologies whilst leading multi-functional teams (MFT).

The responsibility of the team being the solutions for the full Financial reporting pyramid from detailed In-House parts (IHP) cost split to Group allows you exposure and the opportunity to gain a detailed understanding not only of Aircraft operations, but also of Defence and Space and Helicopters. You will work closely with the Finance Community (Controlling, Reporting Planning, Accounting etc…).  Designing and delivering together the digital tool set for reporting (e.g. KPI dashboard, Standard Reports, Ad hoc reporting and Data Analytics supported by machine learning) in order to create and take advantage of the opportunity to evolve in the way of working and improving the ability for data driven decision making.

Your main tasks and responsibilities will include :

·  To lead MFT to understand the project objectives, scope, the as-is situation, the pain points, existing processes and business model.  To derive the future target solution and data model ensuring that it fully integrates with the existing corporate platforms.
·  To secure project governance, i.e project planning, resource and cost management, to set up and to organize project steering committees.
·  To organize, lead and manage the MFT through the various project delivery life cycles – definition, development, testing, training, change management, entry into service and after care.
·  To support IFS and Airbus for the various transformation projects.

You have the following skills and experience:

·  Solid background in Finance, with project management experience and passion for systems / new technologies/ new ways of working
·  Good understanding of Business Processes in the Finance area
·  Knowledge of Finance Controlling and / or Finance Reporting associated with monitoring of critical success factors
·  At least 5 years in project management on Finance Systems / Transformation projects:
·  Experience working with SAP (Hana, BW, BPC, SAC etc..)
·  Know how to capture, analyse, negotiate, specify and validate requirements with the right stakeholders
·  Know how on general SAP HANA/BW design concept (HANA views, BW objects)
·  Know how to test/deploy technical solutions and to train users
·  Know how to assess efficiency and reliability of IT solutions
·  Knowledge of security/internal control rules for financial data and systems
·  Good communication skills, self-driven, ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic customer-focused environment
·  Comfortable in working with multinational teams, in a Multi-Functional Team setup
·  Curiosity, open mind, promote new ideas, new ways of working, experience in “Agile” working approaches
·  Language Skills: Advanced level in English
