Job Description

1/Job title: Enterprise Architect

A position of Enterprise Architect has just opened within Airbus Defence & Space in Madrid.

You will join the Information Management team 'Enterprise and Data Architecture'. This team acts as one of the major actor of the innovation and the driver of the simplification of the IM landscape.

This position requires a security authorization or to be eligible to an authorization by recognized authorities.

2/Job description:

·  You will assess the applicability of new digital technologies to support the future needs and define the associated guidelines and principles
·  You will ensure their application in the frame of the overall IM strategy.
·  You will provide direction / guidance to ensure compliance and alignment with the solutions across the division.
·  You will maintain the architecture related information within the Enterprise Architecture Referential in close collaboration with all relevant stakeholders.

3/ Tasks & accountabilities:

You will be in charge of the following main activities:

·  Contribute to the architectural strategy, processes and methodologies enterprise wide.
·  Evaluate and update the overall architecture against the short and long-term business goals.
·  Prepare the future of the Airbus Defence and Systems Information System by identifying and demonstrating the value of the innovative technologies against the business expectations,
·  Influence specific roadmaps in alignment with enterprise initiatives
·  Ensure the constant visibility of the current status of the Information System (Enterprise Architecture repository)
·  Validate new technologies aligned to Digitalization and other strategic drivers

Business travels can be expected (once/month maximum) in Europe and consequently, you must be willing to travel accordingly.

4/Required skills

You have the experience and the following skills:

Educational Qualifications and experience:

·  10 years in IS organization with a proven experience on Architecture Design and Digitalization
·  3 years in a business context
·  Experience in working in an international environment
·  Good level in English
·  Experience in agile project methodologies is a plus (e.g. SCRUM)

Technical knowledge:

·  Technology strategy & planning
·  Enterprise Architecture tool (Alfabet)
·  Architecture management methodology (TOGAF)
·  Solution development
·  Modelling tools (Mega/Enterprise Architect)

Professional skill:

·  Proven in Project management
·  Proven in driving improvement & innovation
·  Proven in communication, management customer expectations

Behavioral skills:

·  Team worker
·  Negotiation and influence

Language skills:

·  English advanced
·  French advanced
