About the Role...

Within the new Digital Payload Centre of Competence of Space Systems Engineering organisation, this vacancy is open for the position of Electrical Systems Engineer ; the successful applicant shall contribute directly to the flagship product line “OneSat”.

The successful applicant will join the Digital Payload Delivery group.  You will be an integral part of our team, contributing to the success of space missions through the design, testing, and implementation of compliant solutions for space payloads. This role presents a unique opportunity to work on cutting-edge space projects, collaborate with a diverse team of experts, and contribute to the advancement of satellite products.

The candidate shall support the Spacecraft Electrical Architect Teams, based in Toulouse France and ultimately be part of the team that ensures the robustness of the Spacecraft produced by Airbus.

How will you contribute to the team…

· 
Ensure Payload compliance through implementation of design processes of a telecom payload for all DC electrical aspects

· 
Definition of electrical interfaces of the payload equipment to ensure compatibility with the platform

· 
Manage supplier compliance through design review documentation - confirm the electrical interface of the equipment is compliant to the Airbus requirements

· 
Enable the Payload and Spacecraft integration and ultimately in orbit control through generation and publishing of the Payload User Manual

· 
Ensure Payload robustness through development of a mission specific telecommand and telemetry database including the integration of the supplier’s test results

· 
Ensure successful test campaigns, in the key phases of electrical integration of equipment and end-to-end tests performed by the AIT operations team (working in clean room environment as required).

About you...

· 
Experience in electrical equipment design, development, component selection and testing

· 
Proficiency in analysing and troubleshooting electrical systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability

· 
Able to work autonomously to set project schedules
