Description of the job :
A vacancy for a UI Designer (m/f) has arisen within Airbus Commercial Aircraft in Toulouse. You will join the Digital Accelerator team within Information Management organization.

The Digital Accelerator is an integral part of Airbus' IT department and is building and operating new business platforms and services adopting new technologies, automation, digital native skills and agile ways of working to accelerate our digitalization journey.

UX/UI design is a main enabler of this transformation. In that context, Airbus IT teams are entirely reshaped and looking for new skills & potentials. Challenges are numerous and exciting!

As our future UI Designer (m/f) you will combine deep experience of UI design and an innate drive to improve existing systems and processes with the creativity to develop new solutions to evolving challenges.

Task & accountabilities :
As a UI Designer (m/f), you will:

o Work closely with UX designer, Product Manager and Front End Developer
o Collaborate with Branding team to enhance and maintain strong brand digital image
o Support and accompany UX and Service designers

o Produce and optimize visual designs with company context, branding identity and end user needs, contributing to the Airbus Design System
o Be obsessed with getting the product's UI pixel-perfect and produce high-quality visual designs from concept to execution,
o Ensure UI consistency across Airbus products and services line,
o Take ownership of the work and responsibility for its evolution,
o Co-write functional documentation,
o Communicate and promote the Design System (ways of working, objectives, ...),
o Be responsible for producing mock-ups, functional prototypes, task flows, design specifications, illustrating end-user use cases
o Work on our Desktop and Mobile products enhancing the experience of our internal and external customers,
o Animate creative workshops, design reviews,

This role will involve some travel for business in Europe and as such you must be able to travel accordingly.

Your Boarding Pass:

o Master Degree in User Interface design (Arts Applied background),
o Significant professional experience in UI Design,
o Experience in defining or working with a Design System,
o Strong experience:
- with wireframe and design software such as Sketch,
- with prototyping software such as Xd, Principle, InVision for light mock-ups and JustInMind for more representative or complex dynamic mock-ups,
- with other software needed for more specific activities such as After effects,
o Plentiful experience with the good old-fashioned pencil and paper,
o Experience in leading creative workshops,
o Knowledge in programming languages would appreciated,
o Advanced level of English, French would be appreciated.
