Activities in this area are high profile and well supported by senior management within HR and the wider Business.

Your key role will be to support activities in the UK related to Human Resources Events.  Specifically this would involve supporting the Airbus UK team in the delivery of recognition events for Airbus employees and communications.

The UK team is creative, dynamic individuals with a real passion for the subject. The events work is rewarding and there is much scope for involvement and innovation. It is a fast paced role and you will hold real responsibilities seeing projects through from beginning to end. Additionally they will work alongside varying levels throughout the business liaising with internal customers and external suppliers. This will give experience to draw from in their future career.

Other opportunities may arise within the Human Resources function, that you will be able to provide support on, a variety of these may include, disciplinary hearings, training sessions, recruitment activities and Cultural sessions.

Tasks

You will work in close co-operation with the team and will also interface with a variety of line managers, HR Business Partners, External Suppliers and the internal Communications team in the following areas:

·  Support the recognition and team building events (Recognition of Learning, Long Service Awards, HR Roadshows)
·  Owner of the Airbus Internal Web HR page and responsible for HR communications and updates in many formats
·  Statistics and reporting activities

Our Internships are open to Undergraduates only. Therefore it is mandatory for candidates to be an undergraduate for the whole duration of the placement.

Successful candidates will be able to demonstrate the following;

·  Attention to detail a must
·  Effective communication skills.
·  Proficient in Microsoft and or GSuite
·  Team player/flexible approach
·  Ability to Multi-task

Preferred skills:

·  Project management (initiation, monitoring and control)
·  Previous involvement in supporting / organising events
