A great opportunity as a STRATEGIC DESIGNER (m/f) has arisen within Airbus Customer Services Digital Engineering department based in Toulouse - Blagnac.

You will be integrated the Growth and Innovation for Digital Solutions team, which is about 25 people (Strategic Designers, Value Architects & Solution Innovators) organized into Digital Growth Squads.

Our activity is to find new digital solutions in order to help our customers solving problems and leveraging business value, by designing desirable, viable and feasible services.

Co-creation, Design thinking and Lean UX are part of our day to day ways of working and philosophy.

·  Tasks and Responsibilities :

Your Responsibilities and missions : 

User research & discovery

From stakeholders to end-users, organise sets of interviews in order to deliver a clear vision of the client objectives, strategy, ecosystem and end-users needs.

Lead interviews and minutes.

Formalise the output of interviews such as ecosystems, personas, and customer journeys.

Ideation

From the user research outputs, target the right insights and opportunities in order to launch ideation phases.

Prepare, inspire and brief teams before ideation through creative, innovation, ux, and competitive benchmark presentations.

Organise and animate ideation and brainstorm sessions.

Qualify the value of ideas, according to the strategy set up and the brand value objectives.

Idea framing 

Frame ideas, based on original insights, pain points solved, emotional gains leveraged, and describe its value.

Co-create and define the idea value proposition, based on the Lean canvas principles, by analysing customer segment, reporting customer pain points and expectations, and contributing to the definition of a solution scenario.

Engage customers in a co-creation phase.

Describe the overall experience of the idea, and document it with a data driven experience map, including the user journey sequences, data in /out and KPIs.

Describe the key contents and features related to the experience, their roles, key messages, kinds of assets, in order to define a roadmap and a set of prioritisation.

Prepare and storytell a presentation, as a short Framed Idea pitch.

Concept orientation

Describe and present every user journey flows of the experience, then wireframe and mock-up every step and screen.

Set up sitemaps.

Functional prototypes, ability to organise customer co-creation workshops along the lean start-up cycle (build – measure – learn) to refine the solution scenarios.

Define final product SWOT.

Prepare and storytell a presentation, as a Minimum Viable Concept pitch and obtain a portfolio management buy-in.

Match idea with a sales approach and with the early adopter program.

Production follow up

Collect users feedbacks from co-build workshops.

Ensure minimum version of product is tested and ready to be rolled out to early adopters under operational conditions, following safety standards and regulation.

Contribute to the Early adopters change management set-up, from service level, support and minimum version of eLearning, to operational point of view.

Graphic Design, Datavisualisation & Copywriting

Create & formalise best in class presentations & deliverables, simplify & clarify our methods and recommandations.

Information architecture, ergonomics, usability and interaction design

Master the 4 pillars of User Experience Design production :

·  information science, taxonomy, nomenclature and organisation knowledge and methods
·  Ethnographics, Cognitive science, and Behavioural science understandings
·  From basics to advanced knowledge and management of usability multi devices standards.
·  User interface design management.

Project management & documentation

Manage teams, set-up meeting & timelines, and establish content specifications.

·  Required skills :

You have the following training, experience and skills:

·  Educated to a 4 years’ degree level (or equivalent) in User Experience Design or a related discipline.
·  You have 3 to 5 years of experience as User Experience Designer or Service Designer.
·  You have knowledge of Design thinking, Lean UX, and Service Design.
·  You are familiar with tools such as iOS Suite and prototyping tools.
·  Language skills: Negotiation level in French and Advance level in English

·  Soft skills:  

- Rigorous, curious and autonomous

- Obtain good interpersonal and communication skills

- Able to integrate into team and be a flexible team player

- Have organizational skills

- Able to analyze and synthesize information

- Creative and disruptive mindset

- Knowledge sharing and ability to animate and evangelize
