Location: This role is based in Stevenage

Type: Full time, experienced hire

About the Role...

This is an exciting opportunity to support on one of Airbus's key spacecraft projects; OneSat. The Product Equipment Manager will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and high-quality production of Onesat's Antenna Programmes. This position would suit someone with a good level of knowledge and experience in manufacturing processes, with ambitions to one day move into Project Management

How you will contribute to the team...

· 
Schedule Management - Manage, align and monitor all workload predictions based on schedule for all disciplines

· 
Procurement - Manage procurement and align with commodity for demand based ordering. Manage the product catalogue and negotiate any changes to the product catalogue.

· 
Project Planning - Conduct regular reviews and alignment meetings with both internal and external stakeholders, managing development, highlighting potential resource clashes and raise to management

· 
Cost Control - Responsible for project cost control, financial reviews and cost scheduling

About you...

· 
You will come from a manufacturing or industrial planning background, with exposure to key production planning process (Procurement, AIT, MRP Systems, Scheduling)

· 
Good, all round understanding of manufacturing engineering, ideally with experience of low volume, bespoke/specialist assets from sectors relevant to Aerospace

· 
You will be open to progressing with the role as it grows, potentially into more of a Project Management position.
