Key Skills and Responsibilities:

You will be in charge of the control and governance over total ANZ Payroll Accounting and fixed assets database including capital and AUC (assets under construction).

Processing timely and accurate monthly activities, ensuring integrity of system data and that key financial controls for Payroll and Fixed assets are operational, and that key risks and opportunities are communicated to the appropriate levels of management, other duties include:

Payroll

· Deliver timely and accurately all the payroll routine journal entries into SAP, from ADP payroll system related to weekly, fortnightly and monthly Unilever employees.
· Ensure all relevant payroll cost outside the pay run ie Terminations are recorded in SAP
· Act as a nexus between HR and ADP to clarify any issues related to payroll process.
· Prepare payroll monthly accruals
· Provide analysis and insight into payroll variances and provide relevant commentaries as required.
· Provide assistance in preparation of internal/external audit process and actuarial valuations required for IAS 19 (Employee Benefits)

Fixed Assets

· Be single point of contact for Fixed assets queries. Handle queries and problem solve activities from business users and third party services in relation to Fixed Assets and Capital Proposals. Maintain and keep up to date the DTPs (Desktop procedures) used by the third party service.
· Review correctness and completeness of capital/disposal proposals. Ensure Marlin user list is up to date and any follow up for capitalization and closure of projects.
· Work closely with third party services to ensure delivery of Fixed Assets activities in line with agreed DTPs, SLAs (Service level agreements) and timetables. Provide asset capitalization, disposal & Master Data information via the BMC tool. Ensure the year end close / new year open process for Fixed Assets and Projects is completed.
· Ensure Fixed Assets Verifications are performed to schedule. Review and validate useful life for assets in line with audit requirements and perform annual impairment review.

You

· Proven experience within finance
· Business Partnering experience or demonstrated skill.
· Achieved or working towards a financial professional qualification e.g CPA, CIMA, ICAA
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence others and hold them accountable
· Self accountability and integrity
