Tools Programmer [Tom Clancy's The Division 2]

Job description



Working on our engine and tools team, your primary focus will be on implementing and maintaining the various tools and core engine systems of our in-house engine Snowdrop™. You will be expected to work in close collaboration with other programmers, designers, artists and testers to craft high quality, scalable solutions where performance, memory, and load times are taken into account.

·  Designing, implementing, debugging, and iterating on new and existing engine systems and tools
·  Performance awareness in algorithms as well as memory usage and loading times
·  Developing in a multithreaded environment for large teams

You as a person
To suit this position you have a passion for building great technology. You value quality in everything you do and have a good attention to detail. You need to have a strong sense of ownership and responsibility. You need to be good with collaborating with different people. 

Besides the above we’re looking for someone with experiences within the following areas: 

·  4+ years of professional programming experience with C++
·  Experience building and maintaining user interfaces
·  Experience with tools development for large teams
·  Experience with designing efficient systems
·  Debugging and problem solving skills
·  Ability to accurately estimate task duration

Desired skills

·  Degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent work experience
·  Strong optimization skills
·  Experience with multithreaded development
·  Experience with performance analysis tools
