Job Description

Total Solar has strong ambitions in the development of solar Utility Power Plant scale with public and private off takers within its perimeter (focusing  mainly in Japan, Europe, South Africa, Middle East, USA), and in the development of energy storage worldwide. Iberia is a key area within Total Solar UPP to achieve this strategy, and the ambition is to establish a sizable UPP portfolio in Spain.

Reporting to the Head of Project Development, Spain, the Project Developer is responsible to develop PV projects and will manage closely the execution of the assets in coordination with the Business Development and Operation and Asset Management department of Total Solar Iberica.

·  Manage and supervise the development of a solar photovoltaic projects, from greenfield to commissioning.
·  Ensures economic viability of each project
·  Manage relationships with external stakeholders, including landowners, local and relevant authorities, public entities, advisors, grid operators, electrical companies, EPC and O&M contractors.
·  Work along with high-efficient teams to coordinate all project aspects
·  Drives the progress of each project by leading all necessary internal & external steps in the process
·  Report periodically of all the progress made based on the defined work procedures and KPIs.
·  Regular Domestic Travels

Candidate profile

·  Bachelor or Master Degree in Engineering
·  Technical background in renewable energies
·  Minimum of 6 years of experience in development of projects
·  English, French language is a plus
