Job Description

·  Middle Office Control for assigned Refined Products, Bunker, Petrochemicals and Crude Oil books:
·  Responsible for all daily and monthly P/L reporting.
·  Monitor and control daily trades and modifications to trades entered in Medissys and IODA for accuracy and reasonableness, particularly those that could change price exposure.
·  Monitor, control and report daily pricing for physical purchases and sales activities.
·  Monitor and report physical and paper position and risk exposure versus the authorized limits.
·  Analyze, reconcile and manage TTA’s hedge instruments:  Futures, OTC Swaps and Forwards with TOTSA.
·  Control Authorized Daily Trading Limits and prepare reports for approval by the Trading Desk Manager and Managing Director.
·  Provide statistical results, trades analysis and support needed to Trading Desks and Management.
·  Interface with Operations personnel to ensure that all risk- and profit-related data in Medissys are current and correct.
·  Reconcile monthly Medissys and accounting system financial results.
·  Develop analytical programs and management tools; improving spreadsheets, macros and position management.
·  Participate in new projects development and support.

Candidate profile

·  Excellent mathematical background.
·  Excellent analytical and comprehension of trading and marketing activities.
·  Excellent communication and organizational skills.
·  Adaptable, Diplomatic, Team player.
·  Economics/Math/Finance/Energy or similar bachelor’s degree required with, if possible 5-8 years of professional experience in a trading area or a related field. Master’s Degree preferred.
·  Strong command in English language.
·  Fluency in French language is an advantage.
