We are looking for a Junior Planning Engineer, who can join our multicultural team in Barcelona, Spain, to collaborate in activities like defining project objectives in terms of duration and resources and to pilot the project status and ensure the forecast reliability.

You are meant for this job if

You have:

·Master Degree or Bachelor Degree in Industrial Engineering.

·At least 2 years of experience in companies providing engineering services to the Chemical, Refining or Petrochemical Industry.

·Knowledge of planning engineering tools, Primavera and Project.

·Advanced level of English.

·Commited and proactive.

Job Description

You will do:

·  Development of Schedules compliant with the selected execution strategy.
·  Planning in order to mitigate risks and reduce costs.
·  Definition and optimization the necessary resources (E-P-C-I).
·  Definition of the Planning & Scheduling system (methods, procedures, time-schedules, physical progress, dashboards, etc).
·  Definition of the Project Breakdown Structures.
·  Supporting of Client approval process of the Schedule Baseline by providing accurate data.
·  Get Client approval of progress claimed or milestones achievement in order to enable invoicing.
·  Monitoring and control the project status, to detect any delay and to propose corrective actions in order to mitigate risks and prevent any delay.
·  Estimation of the delays linked with changes and claims and preparation the Extension of Time analysis, in case of delay due to Client.
