Job Description

We’re in search of a Junior Buyer to join our Admin & Operations team. In this role, you’ll report to the Supply Chain & Logistics coordinator, and work closely with our Merchandising and Product teams to make sure that we always have the requested amount of products to match customers demand. We are looking for someone digital enthusiast and ideally a beauty geek.

·  Recordkeeping: you will have to keep track of all quotations, orders, and prices requests in our ERP.
·  Researching: you will help research trends and suppliers to improve our Cost of Goods.
·  Negotiating: Getting a good price for items in the quantity desired delivered in a satisfactory time frame is one of your major duty. You will discuss needs with vendors to work out appropriate arrangements.
·  Monitoring: You will control the quality of the shipments received. If the delivery has problems, you will contact the sender to inquire about the delay or to fix the order to bring it up to par with expectations.

Preferred Experience

·  Experience: 1 or 2 years of experience in purchasing
·  Education: Bachelor or master’s degree in business administration, supply chain or engineering
·  Good analytical skills, ability to negotiate
·  Proficiency in Excel would be appreciated
·  Fluent English and French
·  Must demonstrate a clear understanding of beauty industry
