Laurent, our CEO, has a PhD and 15 years of experience in the Energy industry. He has held important positions in companies like ENGIE and Wood Plc. Most recently he was Technical Director at Dassault Systèmes, in charge of the solutions for the Energy & Materials division.
Shivani, our CTO, has a PhD in Machine Learning from CEA Saclay.
Our team is mentored by a team of advisors composed of senior academic and business experts having occupied executive positions in large energy companies.

Job Description

We are currently building & deploying our prototypes for large energy customers across the UK and Europe. As a machine learning engineer intern, you will report directly to our CTO and support her in the development efforts towards our initial prototypes.

As an intern in our early stage start-up, you will be in charge of implementing and testing algorithms for tasks related to deep learning. Depending on your interests & skills, these tasks will include Data Collection, 2D-3D computer vision tasks, unsupervised learning and scalability of machine learning algorithms. You will be working on images and cloud of points datasets. As a deep tech start-up, we are looking for strong computer science skills and passion for programming.

Preferred Experience

TECHNICAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

·  You are currently obtaining or already have a Masters degree (or equivalent)
·  You are proficient in Python and can implement algorithms using relevant Machine Learning libraries (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras etc.)
·  You understand the whats and hows of deep learning (CNNs, training procedure)
·  You are interested in working with Computer vision problems involving 3D Point Clouds, Images and Mesh datasets
·  You are interested in reading research papers and applying their principles to real world problems
·  You have any knowledge about Robotics, 3D Vision for Autonomous cars, Object segmentation or proficiency in C++ (this is a plus, not required)
·  You are proficient in English
