Regional Treasury Analyst (Trade)

Job description

We are currently seeking a professional to join Schneider Electric as Regional Treasury Analyst (Trade)

In this role, you will be subject matter expert in supporting trade finance and contracting risk. The main responsibilities are as follows:


· Definition

· Bonds Commitments provided to our customers
· Customer risk securisation (bank products such as Export Document Credits, Standby Letter of Credit, Export Sales Financing, ….)
· Passive Guarantees, received by Schneider entities, as per Supplier risk securisation

· Audience, (East Asia Japan region)

· Credit Managers
· Countries Chief Financial Officers, Business Entities in Schneider countries: Finance Team (Treasurer, Credit Manager...),
· Business, Solutions Risk Managers, Tendering Managers, Project Managers, Execution Centers,
· Finance & Treasury department, including Financial Controllers,

· Role

· Legal Risk review & analysis of bank commitments
· Bank limits structuration (RFPs Banks, portfolio transfer… )
· To monitor & to ensure application in countries of the Group Rules, Processes & System, including Reporting, Risk exposure monitoring with Past Expiry & matured bonds, …
· Corporate Support, including some Corporate Validation Role & some operational process
· Bank relationships, including Digital process
· Analysis & reporting of the Group's consolidated risk
· Animation Role, including Training

Desired profile

Qualifications :

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:



·  At least 3 years experience in trade finance knowledge, preferably within the banking industry.
·  Possess a good degree in finance & banking from a reputable university
·  Self-starter and able to provide subject matter expert consultation (trade related matters) to stakeholders in multiple countries.
·  Good communication skills.
