PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

*Apprentice under seasoned Modelmakers learning safe operation of basic machine tools and fabrication equipment.

*Learn parametric modeling and design utilizing Creo 2.0 ( Pro Engineer)

* Under supervision of seasoned Modelmakers, learn CNC programming and operation of CNC equipment, wire EDM and 3D printers.

Desired profile

Qualifications :

Responsibilities as modelmaker include machining or fabricating parts, assemblies, and prototypes in a timely, safe and accurate manner utilizing whatever equipment is necessary and available. This may include CNC or manual machine tools, fabrication and welding equipment. May utilize wire EDM, and 3D printers as required. Will utilize CAD to design tooling and parts as required, providing prints and documentation as requested.

The successful candidate will have demonstrated these skills at an entry level through completion of an Associated of Applied Science Degree, or have documented equivalent experience.
