Paint Line Maintenance Associate

We are seeking a reliable Paint Line Maintenance Technician to ensure the optimal functioning of the paint line, pretreatment and WWT equipment and processes at our facility. Responsibilities include performing regular inspections of machinery and equipment, carrying out preventative maintenance, identifying faulty equipment, making relevant adjustments to machinery, carrying out maintenance tasks, communicating problems to staff, and maintaining technical knowledge through refresher training.


Paint Line Maintenance Associate
Responsibilities:

Maintaining and installing electrical, mechanic, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems and equipment.

Performing routine preventative maintenance by maintaining a schedule for inspecting, servicing, and testing machinery.

Locating problems through close observation of equipment and processes.

Performing careful inventory and stock checks and placing orders for required material and equipment.

Back-up/cross-train with the Powder Paint Line Technician as needed.

Collecting and analyzing data to maintain operational parameters.

Attending daily meetings and scheduled training workshops where required.

Controlling downtime by communicating with staff and implementing contingency measures.

Assisting with training of new hires.

Reading, interpreting, and following instructions and operation manuals.

Cleaning, repairing and installing equipment and parts as needed.

Maintaining a clean and organized work area.

Desired profile



Qualifications :

This job might be for you if:

Journeyman electrician preferred.




• Must know how to bend and install conduit.

• Able to install electrical circuits for new and existing equipment.

• Troubleshoot electrical power and control circuits, contactors, starters, relays, single phase and three phase motors.

• Troubleshoot and repair compressed air systems to include compressors.

• Able to set up and operate welders, drill press, grinder, hand tools and other metal working equipment.

• Fabrication and modification of new and existing equipment.

• Basic to moderate welding skills required

· Able to diagnose and troubleshoot automation and control systems

· Diagnose, troubleshoot, maintain and repair electronic equipment

· Basic to intermediate PLC knowledge

· 5+ years of experience as a Maintenance Mechanic or in a similar role

· Technical certificate of completion or Associates degree in a related field preferred

Ability to remain calm and act responsibly during emergencies.

Knowledge and ability to operate hand and power tools.

Driver's license and willingness to work overtime if necessary.
