What do you get to do in this position?

This position is responsible for being a first-response for customer interactions, servicing complex system issues on time and to the customer's satisfaction. These specialists will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing customer systems, performing scheduled maintenance, and performing warranty work. They are also responsible for analyzing customer needs and making suggestions regarding expanded product offerings to existing customers. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each primary job duty satisfactorily.

· Troubleshoot and Repair Fire Alarm & Security systems
· Install, replace and re-commission devices, equipment and software
· Assist in performing job site training sessions
· Provides emergency and warranty service as required
· Provide on-site training to customers as needed
· Suggest system improvements and modifications
· Assist sales with Service Quotes
· Programming for Service and Projects

Qualifications :

This job might be for you if:

Education:

·  Two-year (2) degree in a related technical field required or related work experience

Experience:

·  Minimum of 5 years servicing fire alarm and security systems
·  EST-3 certified preferred, not required
·  NICET certified preferred, not required
·  Experience with EST, Firelite, Silent Knight, Pelco, Avigilon, Genetec, AccessXpert & VideoXpert

Skills & Abilities:

·  Intermediate ability to use Microsoft Office programs including but not limited to Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
·  Demonstrated focus on the customer
