Job description



A Field Services Project Engineer is responsible for the day to day technical activity within 1 or several projects.

· Producing technical documentation
· Build the BOM ( Bill of Material ) for the Project Manager
· Validation and acceptance of equipment and services
· Customer liaison for technical items within the project/s
· Resolving technical issues within projects

Essential Responsibilities:

Depending on the size of the country and modernization projects, breadth of responsibilities can vary. Here follows a complete overview:

Project Responsibilities
· Understand project scope
· Assist in initial project planning to develop required tasks and estimate effort requirements for those tasks
· Responsible for implementation of solutions for the project/s
· Responsible for timely and accurate development of drawings and documentation on assigned projects
· Awareness and compliance with project quality procedures (QA)
· Manage individual priorities, deliverables and utilization (time management)
· Onsite project work as required
· Inform Project Manager of all variations and risks in a timely manner

Technical:
· Ensure technical skills and knowledge permanent improvement in line with corporate direction
· Contribute to improving Engineering Capabilities/Processes by sharing knowledge and ideas
· Ensures that activities conform with relevant government regulations, company policies, standard and ethics

Communication & Reporting:
· Contribute to specifications, functional descriptions, and manuals
· Consult with colleagues in areas of technical expertise
· Identify opportunities to widen the use of the company's solutions within projects, where relevant
· Conduct all communications in a professional manner
· Keep Project Manager up to date with current progress and participate to communication Plan to maintain client relationship
· Provide early warning to the Project Manager of impending problems or issues

Administration/General
· Perform administrative duties as related to the role including timely completion and submission of timesheets and expense claims
· Comply with company standards and policies
· Keep Document Management System up to date with all Reports and documentation for Engineering on the project ( inc. digital Archives )

Relationship Management

Maintains and encourages appropriate communications and cooperation:

· with customers / partners /supplies
· with our entities within =SE= divisions and entities
· with project team

Health, Safety and the Environment
· Complies with company and customer HS&E standards and policies from Solution design to execution.
· Takes a personal interest (or 'actively owns') HS&E issues and activities within your area of responsibility - lead by example.

Project Manager, Project Team, SE Factories, Installation & site Team from Schneider and Client,

Partners and Suppliers.

Qualifications :

Electrical Engineering

Job Related Experience:

Previous experience in the delivery of UPS

Solid technical report writing skills

Mastering of CAD Software like Autocad …

Knowledge of project management software tools is a + (MS Excel, MS Project)
