Schneider Electric USA is a leading manufacturer of equipment for electrical distribution, industrial control, and automation. We have the following position available in Franklin, Tennessee :

Product Configuration Engineer [MULTIPLE POSITIONS]: S/he will develop product (Panelboard) selection and configuration content and translating that content into quotation bill of material, pricing, delivery, catalog numbers and AutoCAD Electrical drawings for internal and external customers. S/he will program the product selector based on configuration logic using Product Modeler Workbench tool. S/he will study Datasheets(DS) and Application Notes(AN) containing electrical engineering design aspects of the product such as System Voltage, Fault Current, kVA Rating of Transformer, Resistance, Power factor, Impedance, Trip Ampacity, Circuit breaker type, product dimensions, enclosure types etc. This position requires a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering. Must have coursework in the following: Electrical Distribution, Switchgear and Protection, Electrical Power Generation and Digital Electronics; AutoCAD; Object Oriented Programming; and Software Development Cycle and Testing Methodologies.
