Skills and Competencies Required

·  Proven project/program leadership, capacity to coordinate several activities and stakeholders including internal and external partners
·  Demonstrated experience managing large and complex projects and in managing cross functional teams
·  Knowledge of healthcare data and analytics in the US and globally
·  Ability to network and communicate across diverse functions, and to work in a matrix organization
·  Critical thinking – ability to challenge the status quo
·  Anticipate risks and propose mitigation plans, ability to propose creative solutions to operational/strategic issues
·  Influencing skills to motivate team members for best performance and outcomes
·  Excellent communication skills – written and oral

Education and background

·  Degree in a scientific discipline (e.g. BS, MS, MPH) or related degree with substantial project management and/or project leadership experience
·  5+ years of experience in expanding roles in drug development or related field, including experience and understanding of the current pharmaceutical environment, including sound understanding of the therapeutic area
·  3+ years of professional experience managing complex projects, demonstrating effective communication and leadership, ability to successfully bridge between different fields of expertise, and managing program risks and challenges (including scenario and contingency planning)
·  Business qualifications such as MBA or professional project management qualification such as PMP® would be of additional benefit
·  Knowledge of project planning tools, budget structure and management science
·  Demonstrated ability to manage transversal communication and to network across teams
·  Managerial and interpersonal skills that are applicable to a matrix organization; effective international collaboration and external alliance partnering skills

Location: US-based; Cambridge (preferred)
