Job description



Key Areas of Responsibility

·  Monitor Health and Safety

HSE officers monitor incidents of injury, illness, and other situations within an assigned geographic area.

·  Create Reports

HSE officers write reports detailing health and safety within their assigned research market.

·  Develop Strategies

HSE officers design strategies to reduce incidents of illness, environmental accidents, and other issues that may affect public safety.

·  Investigate

HSE officers go into the field to investigate environmental accidents and other public safety concerns within their market. They may also assign team members to investigate reported incidents.

·  Design Training Programs

HSE officers design training programs to provide safety awareness education.

·  Establish and running system

· 
Supervise HSE in all plant and follow HSE standard

· 
New product and transfer: part of transfer team.

· 
New product: new equipment, define URS for HSE part, instillation and start-up.

· 
New Product: check that HSE is correctly define with new launch and transferred product.

· 
Training: Responsible for all Site team training related to HSE activates

· 
Prepare all emergence preparedness and crisis management planes , SOP's and execution..

· 
Advise Senior Management on all legal and other requirements relating to health safety and environmental legislation in the work place.

· 
Ensure that there is suitable emergency procedures and equipment in place for dealing with emergencies such as fires and spillage

Qualifications & Experience:

·  2 - 3 years' experience in an Environmental role within a manufacturing environment
·  Holding a Degree in Occupational Health and Safety or other allied fields.
·  Knowledge of and ability to use management concepts and principles including goal setting, planning and execution.
·  IOSH, NEBOSH Qualified/Accreditations, HSE relevant trainings and qualified as an internal auditor. Preferred designation as a Certified Safety Professional (CSP / CMIOSH) or equivalent (IOSH & NEBOSH)
·  Strong knowledge of relevant HSE principles.
·  Ability to adhere to Company policies, procedures, guidelines and work requirements
·  Ability to carry out incident investigation and root cause analysis.
·  Proficient in the use of MS Office Applications (Words, Excel, PowerPoint, etc).
·  Documentation skills

Priority will be given to KSA Nationals for this role.
