This position reports to the Head of HR R&D US and is based in Bridgewater NJ.

In this role, the Human Resource Business Partner will partner with an R&D client group providing a full range of HR services and will act as a key driver of the people strategy.

The main missions will be to build and sustain relationships with all levels of multiple client groups in the organization, to effectively influence analysis and decision-making in the areas of leadership, talent management & development, succession planning, change management, work force planning, organization development & design, performance management, employee engagement, and to collaborate with the US and global HR team members as well as with the HR Centers of Expertise to diagnose, develop and deliver solutions to support the client groups.

Main Job Duties and Responsibilities:

- Act as an HR strategist, change agent and implementation advisor in order to support the senior leaders and managers in translating the business strategy into an executable People agenda as well as translating the R&D vision into sustainable new behaviors

- Guide and influence senior leaders to align manager and employee capabilities to the mid-to-long-term business needs and to drive significant cultural change and employee engagement

- Provide thought leadership and guidance to managers on all organizational design and organization development matters (e.g. reorganizations, building organization capability, strategic workforce planning, etc.)

- Coach and advise the managers on the effectiveness of their leadership teams, various strategic business matters, talent topics and general HR issues

- Coach and advise the managers on the interaction with global teams and cross functional matrix structures

The person in this role should have strong business acumen with proven ability to align business needs with HR solutions to move the business forward in a dynamic environment and must be able to embody and effectively demonstrate the Sanofi LEAD behavioral competencies (thinking strategically, leading teams, making decisions, developing people, acting for change, striving for results, committing to customers, and cooperating transversally).

The Human Resources Business Partner must be able to relate well to all levels of the organization, demonstrate interpersonal awareness to effectively build and sustain strong client partnerships with trust and credibility and will have a demonstrated track record of effective influencing and coaching, teamwork, organizational design and restructuring and leadership skills.

The role requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a sense of drive and urgency, balancing multiple priorities simultaneously.

An excellent reasoning and problem-solving and conflict resolution skills, as well as an effective project management skills and organizational and communication skills are required.

Basic Qualifications :

The position requires a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of seven years Human Resources or relevant business experience or a Master's degree and five years of progressive Human Resources experience or relevant business experience

- State and federal employment law knowledge

- Solid working knowledge of core areas of HR including policies, processes and systems.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience working in Biopharmaceutical or related industry

- PHR or SPHR certification

- Master’s degree in HR or related field

- Experience working in a global environment

- HR systems (Workday) and Excel experience
