The Supply & Demand Planner proactively manages inventory for commercial and clinical trials so that sufficient and accurate supply of Roche products are available at all times in the market channels.

As a Supply & Demand Planner, you will liaison and partner with Commercial teams and regional and global Supply Chain teams, Regulatory, Quality, other internal groups, external customers and suppliers and will be responsible for managing revenue and profit targets whilst balancing demands for supply to patients and ensures regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities include but not limited to:

·  Forecasting sales and demand in partnership with Commercial & Marketing teams
·  Reporting Demand Planning Accuracy (DPA) at month end and continuously working on improvements to optimise costs and supply
·  Performing effective and targeted forecasting for launch activities and supply of deliveries of inventory
·  Monitoring inventory levels and ensuring inventory is available on-time and in correct quantities
·  Liaise with Finance colleagues and suppliers to ensure pricing and pricing-related activities are confirmed and in place, prior to product launch
·  Interact with Global Planners, especially in situations of restricted supply, to expedite deliveries to ensure no supply interruptions to patients
·  Work with business units and others to address instances of high inventory and create promotional opportunities
·  Negotiate minimum order quantities with internal and external partners and stakeholders
·  Own Supply Planning & Demand Forecasting, as well associated Inventory Management
·  Lead and coordinate local Supply & Operations Planning (S&OP) processes within the global framework
·  Ensure that demand planning processes are executed in an efficient and effective manner within Roche systems
·  Escalate supply issues to relevant parties, in a timely manner

Who are you?

You are degree qualified in supply chain, logistics or life sciences field.

You have demonstrated supply chain experience including experience in forecasting, inventory planning & analysis ideally gained in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, consumer goods or other highly regulated industry.

You must have working with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems and other business management software viz. SAP and/or OMP+. Experience managing/participating in global projects/teams a plus.
