The position as IT Business Partner (ITBP) for the External Contract Manufacturing Organization (CMO) offers a unique and exciting opportunity to shape the information and technology solutions which are needed to partner with our external suppliers. Reporting to the Head of Drug Product Manufacturing IT, you will be a member of the Drug Product Manufacturing ITBP Network but you will work across Drug Product, Drug Substance, Quality and Supply Chain Networks to deliver consistent IT solutions for our CMO business. In addition you will become a member of the extended PTGX Leadership Team.

The ITBP drives business opportunities enabled by information and technology. They are the strategic interface for the purpose of business technology and strategy development, risk management and relationship management for the ultimate benefit of patients.

What you'll be working on

· 
You partner with business stakeholders, co-create technology-enabled business strategies through Collaboration-Pods (or C-Pod) and align with overall Org Unit and Network level Themes and Epics

· 
Provide strategic direction, prioritization, mobilization of resources aligned to shared business objectives with respective areas

· 
Actively participate in strategy setting meetings in Drug Product, Drug Substance, Quality and Supply Chain IT Network and across Informatics

· 
Support Quarterly Business Reviews and be accountable for the Product Portfolio

· 
Take leadership role that educates, advises and challenges to enrich business area strategy for the benefit of the whole

· 
Negotiate and influence to ensure the right product managers and product owners are assigned to key initiatives

· 
Identify business opportunities and work with business and Informatics partners to architect, design, prototype and deliver continually improved products

The ideal candidate

· 
Has IT and business domain knowledge in the Pharmaceutical and Biotech industry. Experience with Manufacturing and Technical Operations, Quality, and/or Supply Chain.

·

Qualifications:

· 
Bachelor's degree in Biology, Computer Science, Mathematics, Electrical Engineering, Information Systems or related experience; Master/PHD plus.

· 
7+ years professional experience in global and complex business environments

· 
5+ years of people management or product management experience

· 
Ability to travel up to 20%
