Identity & Access Management Operations Expert

Job Description:

As the Roche Science Infrastructure Identity & Access Management (RSI IAM) Operations Expert, you hold a key Subject Matter Expert role providing both technical expertise and leadership to support the on-going operation of our Roche Science Infrastructure Identity & Access Management landscape.

One of your main responsibilities will be to provide the right level of consultancy and support to our IT Partners and to ensure a high degree of satisfaction. You will be especially asked to understand their Identity & Access Management requirements and to identify how our current standards can support their business needs. In addition you will be responsible for the continuous improvement and reliability of the underlying Identity & Access Management components. You will oversee and perform analytical, conceptual and problem solving activities for components of the technology domain and will take an active part in the technological components' lifecycle management. In this role, you will also ensure quality of service delivered from Managed Service Providers, ensuring SLA are met and identifying and addressing potential issues in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities:

· 
Key role in Roche Science Infrastructure operating support model, taking ownership of delegated responsibilities from Secure Access Services Head, including escalation paths and regular service management meetings.

· 
Technical interface with Managed Service providing operational support. As Operational Subject Matter Expert, provide consultancy and support whenever required. Responsible for the management of the Off-shore Delivery Centers (ODC) for the RSI IAM Managed Service .

· 
Regular consultancy and interactions with IT Partners & RSI Services Managers to understand IAM requirements and to identify how current standards can support business needs. Ensures continuous improvement and reliability of managed components.

· 
Involved from an operational perspective in implementation of enhancements and additional features; provides technical and business leadership where/ when needed to achieve the vision. Consulted in design related changes to ensure smooth transition and operability.

· 
Oversees environmental expansion (new site) and growth (new component) for IAM services, this includes providing regular updates to senior management about current health and future needs of the IAM landscape.

· 
Ensures that any solution is chosen to fulfill known and understood business requirements (fit for use/ fit for purpose) striving for a customer-centric approach.

· 
Supports the Integrated Service Owner by providing input about operational improvements of Services in scope and receiving feedback about future needs or potential gaps.

· 
Oversees and performs analytical, conceptual and problem solving activities for components of the technology domain.

· 
Takes an active part in the technological components' lifecycle management.

· 
Member of the SAS Extended Leadership team.



Requirements:

· 
B.S. degree in information systems, engineering or computer science required.

· 
8 - 10 years of relevant experience working in a major global organization, preferably in a regulated industry and in providing solutions aligned with standards, security, validation, capacity and high availability.

· 
Hands-on technical skills and operational background experience in the Identity & Access Management area. Especially knowledge with specific technologies like Sailpoint, CyberArk, Radiant Logic, Azure Acive Directory and on-prem Active Directory is ideal.

· 
Industry certifications for the IAM area is a plus.

· 
Good understanding of IT Security systems and landscape with in depth knowledge of authentication and authorization technologies.

· 
Solid understanding of process development, continuous improvement and automation.

· 
Experience in working with external service providers.

· 
Committed to operational excellence, with willingness to cross­train and to learn additional technical expertise.

· 
Strong customer engagement and a highly responsive service delivery and support ethic.

· 
Outstanding communication, stakeholder management and negotiation skills with the ability to communicate across all levels.

·

Excellent interpersonal skills with strong ability to work with people in multiple countries and in varying cultures.

Strong verbal and written English.

· 
International travel is required.
