Are you interested in an internship which would help you build your statistical science skills? We would love to have you join us at P&G as a summer intern! Home As Clinic S-Curve is using innovative tools to transform clinical/consumer research via site-free, E2E, digital, 24/7 measures for more insightful and efficient studies. The measurements obtained in these studies involve using devices with sensors to measure human responses (e.g., skin hydration, blood pressure, skin images, sleep, etc.), traditional clinical and sensory measurements, and questionnaire responses. The statistician role on this S-Curve involves helping to build relevant measurements out of the digital responses to accurately reflect the human response and to correlate the new measurements and/or use to predict the traditional clinical and consumer response measures. This involves partnering with Bioscience scientists and the lead statistician and Data Scientist on the project to analyze collected data and help prepare presentations and study reports.

Qualifications

Requirements (skills / experiences) for the role:

We are looking for a candidate who is working towards a PhD in statistical sciences (Statistics, Biostatistics, Data Science) and has completed PhD comprehensive exams and has the following skills/experiences:

·  Advanced knowledge in statistical modeling with focus on repeated measurements, functional data, and survival analysis.
·  Strong programming skills in SAS and/or R (SAS is a preferred. R-Shiny is required if R)
·  Strong verbal and written communication skills
·  Machine learning/Artificial Intelligence skills are a plus.
