As part of Procter & Gamble’s Global Product Stewardship organization, the Canadian Regulatory Affairs department works with both internal resources and external scientists in industry, government and academia on a variety of scientific issues. This position requires coordination with internal resources for the evaluation of products, packages and labels against company and government requirements.

WE’RE COMMITTED TO DEVELOPING WORLD-CLASS LEADERS. WHAT CAN YOU EXPECT AS A CO-OP STUDENT IN REGULATORY AFFAIRS?

We are looking for a self-motivated student with a technical science background, preferably in Chemistry, Chemical Technology, Environmental Sciences, Life Sciences, Engineering (Biological, Environmental, Chemical or Materials) or other related disciplines. Excellent written and oral communication skills and proficiency with computers are essential. Specific duties will vary with the assignment, but are likely to involve label review, formula review and the execution of a variety of other procedures for ensuring regulatory compliance for products within a specific product category. There may also be an opportunity to become involved in additional regulatory projects, which require strong technical and analytical skills. Under the guidance of a Regulatory Affairs Supervisor, and with the appropriate training, the candidate will work independently to achieve detail-oriented, comprehensive, and reliable results.
