PepsiCo is on the look-out for a Treasury Graduate Accountant to join our Control and Reporting team on a 30month Graduate contract starting September 2020.

We are the concentrate team in PepsiCo (PGCS) working across the Beverage, Nutrition and Snacks categories to deliver concentrate for many of PepsiCo’s mega brands including Gatorade, 7Up and Pepsi. We are at the heart of PepsiCo products, sourcing ingredients to manufacture more than 1,200 recipes for our brands. The successful candidate will have the opportunity of working within the Controls and Reporting team on a 30 Month graduate training programme. He/she will train as a Qualified Accountant through a recognized accountancy body and gain sufficient relevant experience at PepsiCo to complement their studies.

The role of the Treasury Graduate Accountant is to provide support to the Controls and Reporting team in delivering high level accounting, business and process support to customers as well as delivering real time, accurate and relevant information within a customer focus environment.

The key accountabilities for this position include but are not limited to the following:

·  Prepare daily cash positions
·  Funding and foreign exchange responsibilities
·  Completion of multi-currency bank reconciliations
·  Execution of international mass payment runs
·  Prepare rolling cash flow forecasts
·  Assist in monthly balance sheet reviews
·  Key responsibility for emails received into the Treasury Cork Cash Desk mailbox in an efficient cost effective and customer focused manner.
·  Actively participate in projects across the Controls and Reporting team (such as process improvements), to drive efficiencies and assist in the delivery of objectives.
·  Respond to customer telephone queries and emails in a professional and courteous manner to tight service level agreed metrics

Qualifications/Requirements

The successful candidate will ideally have:

·  Accounting degree or equivalent
·  Excellent analytical skills including high degree of proficiency in excel
·  Excellent interpersonal/communication skills (both written and verbal)
·  Results oriented and commitment to achieving objectives
·  Self-starter with ability to work autonomously, as well as being flexible
·  Ability to integrate well within a team environment
