Testing & QA Analyst

about the role

Testing and QA analyst is accountable to ensure the regression tests on most OSS chain.
He/She will be responsible for regression testing design, planning and execution on a variety of key API applications. He/She will work closely with developers, application managers, and other stakeholders throughout executing test plan, tracking / reporting results during QA campaign phase.

Minimum 3-4 years of experience in testing domain.

• Test Plan definition and Test Case design
• Test Case execution and verification
• Identify all defects and follow them till defect closure
• Work with application managers and developers on bug resolution.
• Produce progress reports on a regular basis.
• Implement and perform on going management of quality indicators (as defined by the QoS KPI team)
• Interact with application managers, QoS and KPI and development teams to develop a strong understanding of the regression testing objectives
• Provide recommendations, suggestions for improving testing efficiency and effectiveness.

additional information

• Master or Bachelor’s degree in computer science
• Experience in test plan development and execution.
• Some experience in a Test Tool (preferably JIRA)
• Microsoft Desktop (Word, Excel, Project and PowerPoint)
• Database skills, mainly in Oracle and SQL Server
• Person strongly motivated by doing tests
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to learn, flexibility, creativity, accuracy
• Good team player, with ability to act as individual practitioner
• Working experience in a multi-national/cultural environment
• Good written and verbal communication skills, fluent English
• Customer centric approach
• Problem solving and investigation capabilities
• Ability to work with aggressive schedules
