Presales Engineer (Information Security)

about the role

·  Identification of technical needs of customers, preparation of technical specifications and preliminary design based on customer requests;
·  Coordination of design decisions within the company and with the client;
·  Drawing up technical solution  for the customer, presentation and protection of the developed solutions;
·  Advising clients and colleagues on the technical aspects of the company's developed solutions and products;
·  Interaction with equipment distributors and vendors on technical issues when developing solutions;
·  Conducting PoC and pilots to demonstrate solutions to customers;
·  Participation in the working group on the implementation of decisions, if necessary, participation in acceptance tests;

about you

·  At least 5 years experience in IT as an engineer, presale or consultant;
·  Knowledge and experience:
·  Excellent understanding of the principles of the TCP / IP protocol stack and network technologies from leading equipment manufacturers;
·  The main direction: network security (user authorization / authentication systems, firewalls, WAF, DDoS protection, CyberSOC);
·  Additional direction: legislative regulation of information security;
·  Additional direction: data transmission (switching and routing);
·  Experience in designing and implementing SIEM (preferably IBM QRadar), developing use case and / or writing connectors is welcome;
·  Ethical hacking expertise (CEH, OSCP or equivalent) is appreciated;
·  Examination of equipment in the volumes of the indicated areas: Cisco (FP, ISE, WSA, ESA, as well as routers and switches), Checkpoint, Fortinet, Palo Alto, Imperva, S-Terra, Security Code;
·  Ability to plan your workload, good self-organization, analytical skills, stress resistance;
·  A strong presentation skills, competent oral and written speech, the ability to reasonably, briefly and essentially convey your thoughts and ideas;
·  The desire for self-education and professional development, the ability to quickly understand new solutions;
