Your role at Michael Kors:

As a Training Manager you are responsible for implementing and managing high quality learning and knowledge development programs for technical and non-technical skills in the distribution center. You will be responsible for leading the strategy, development, and operations of learning programs for all levels of support and distribution center employees. To achieve this, you will design and improve training programs that drive engagement and learning effectiveness.  

·  Develop, implement and manage campus and company learning program strategies, processes, training and knowledge/skill development programs.
·  Analyze business needs, prioritize program roadmaps, then design and develop the programs and associated curriculum and training materials to meet those needs.
·  Create internal certification training program for all levels of support and distribution center employees.
·  Collaborate effectively with operations teams, subject matter experts (SMEs) and leaders on the team to support department knowledge and learning programs and initiatives.
·  Measure evaluate and report on the effectiveness and business impact of your learning program to drive key business metrics.  
·  Evaluate and measure compliance to established processes to ensure that procedures are being maintained and followed.
·  Identify the tools and learning technology choices that will provide ways to cost effectively scale your programs and improve learning effectiveness and proficiency.
·  Based on needs analyses, translates knowledge of the organization, adult learning principles into practical learning applications through content development and training knowledge content that best fits the needs of the audience and content (online, classroom, or blended learning methods).
·  Design and develop exercises, tutorials, job aids, reference guides and assessments.

We’re excited about you if you have:

·  Bachelor’s degree in education, communication, instructional design, technology, or related field.
·  5+ years of experience in a curriculum development and training program management role overseeing training program logistics in supply chain.
·  2+ years of program and project management experience including managing multiple concurrent projects and managing process improvement efforts is preferred.
·  Experience applying adult learning principles, agile methods, learning technology and program management skills, development and maintenance of learning solutions.
·  Experience working with industry standard Learning Management Systems (LMS), e-learning software, classroom/virtual instructor led training tools, and reporting and measuring training results and learning effectiveness.
·  Strong written and oral communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate with both technical audiences and non-technical audiences.
·  Ability to speak and write Spanish
·  Physical Demands: Able to lift to 30 pounds and perform manual work
